A-P-H-O-T-O wildlife image libraries were started six years ago; and were initially setup to display images of flora and fauna that occur across Devon and Cornwall. The primary aim of the A-P-H-O-T-O websites have always been to further environmental awareness and education through the medium of photography, and this will continue.

Since the first website was created, APHOTOFLORA, the sites have continually evolved and 2010 will see the biggest change and evolution; and from a non-commercial reference library to an industry ready photographic stock image library. The changes will aid those who use the websites for educational purposes as each species of plant or animal will have its own dedicated page; thus allow more images to be featured on each page. Having a single dedicated page will aid those trying to identify species and those who wish to source images for educational purposes.
