This species of smut fungus was found on Creeping Buttercup, Ranunculus repens, at Goss Moor National Nature Reserve, near the reserve car at St. Dennis, Cornwall. 20.08.13. Also found beside public footpath near Ennestreven Farm, Sancreed, near Penzance, Cornwall. 14.10.13.
