This species was caught using a Skinner moth trap with a 125W Mercury Vapour bulb.
Species found on the 06.08.12.

This moth is perhaps the rarest moth to be found in the area. It has only been found in the UK so far at Buryas Bridge and Crows-an-wra, both to the west of Roscadghill Parc. The moth is thought to have been imported from Australia with the introduction of plants from that country.

The majority of moths are caught and released straight away. A selection are kept for the purposes of identification, recording and photography, and are released soon after.
