Fiddle Dock - Rumex pulcher

Fiddle Dock
Rumex pulcher
- flower 1

This species was quite a surprising find on a neighbours unkempt lawn. The fruits and the leaves are the main characterists used to tell Docks (Rumex) apart as they don't have large showy flowers. The species here has very typical fiddle shaped leaves hence its name. Unlike other more common docks it is rarely troublesome. 07.07.11. SW4594030947.
