This beetle can be found under stones, leaves or other debris. It is commonly seen climbing up walls especially where they are a lighter colour than the weevil. Adults feed on leaves that include Honeysuckle and Spindle; their larvae are a serious horticultural / garden pest and attack a wide range of garden and pot plants including Fuchsias, Cyclamen, cacti and succulents. 07.08.11.
